Oscahs = Out of School Childcare And Holiday Scheme

We provide affordable, high quality childcare in the local community that meets the needs of you and your child. We offer Breakfast, After School and Holiday Clubs for children aged between 3 - 11.

Elaine Beach opened our first club in 2005 at Ashford, Middlesex; as Oscahs - Community Childcare. We now have clubs at six locations. In April 2010 Oscahs - Community Childcare became a Limited company and is now known as Oscahs Limited.

We:

• Are registered with Ofsted.
• Meet the Welfare Requirements.
• Follow the Playwork Principles.
• Meet the Every Child Matters Principles.
• Follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
• Comply with the Extended Schools Initiative.

Our Staff:

• Have NVQ Level 2 or above Playwork/Childcare qualifications.
• Are checked by the Criminal Records Bureau.
• Hold First Aid certificates.
• Have Basic Food Hygiene certificates.
• Hold Safeguarding Children certificates.
• Have knowledge of EYFS.
• Are trained in Relevant Health & Safety.
• Co-ordinators hold NVQ Level 3 qualifications.

We provide a healthy snack during the after school club session. Our After School Clubs give children the opportunity to relax and engage in different types of play.

The typical After School Club menu consists of:

• French bread with Ham or Cheese
• Tortillas with Chicken and Salad
• Rice Pudding
• Fromage Frais
• Apple juice
• Orange juice
• Water

Children can choose to participate in our carefully planned, semi-structured activity programmes. However, as Oscahs is a play environment, children can choose whether or not they wish to join in and can choose to engage in other play based activities.

During the school holidays we operate Holiday Clubs at Spelthorne Infant & Nursery School and Three Bridges Junior School. You can book half or full day sessions for your child.

The morning session includes a healthy breakfast as per the Breakfast Club menu and time for lunch (please provide a pack lunch).

The afternoon session includes a healthy snack as per the After School Club menu.

Working Families Tax Credit (WFTC)

Oscahs Limited is a registered childcare provider and by booking your child in to one of our settings you could be eligible to receive working Families Tax Credit. Credits of up to 70% of childcare costs (maximum credits of £175.00 for one child and £300.00 for two or more children). We accept childcare vouchers (Busy Bees, Edenred, Computershare, Care 4, Sodexho etc).

How to reserve a place for your child at one of our clubs

If you wish to enrol for a place for your child, you will need to return the completed registration pack complete with a £20.00 NON-REFUNDABLE deposit (the deposit will be refunded on your first invoice) to one of our settings or post it to:
