We recognise that parents play the fundamental role in a child's development. We believe that the children in our care benefit most, when there is a strong partnership between us, them and their parents.
We are committed to working in partnership with you, to provide high quality, safe, stimulating care and learning and play opportunities for your child.
Our aim is to achieve a good working relationship with you. We will support and involve all you in all aspects of your child's care. We believe that engaging and working with you, provides your child with a sense of belonging.
We aim to:
- Ensure that you are made to feel welcome and valued in all your dealings with us.
- Ensure that there is an on-going dialogue, written information and informal communication with you.
- Make all the information and records that we hold regarding your child available to you; unless we are temporally instructed not to by the statutory authorities (eg: in the case of a child protection issue).
- Inform you of all policies and procedures and make them available to you on request.
- Encourage you to comment on our policies and procedures.
- Consult with you on a regular basis about the activities that are planned and provided for your child.
- Provide you with full information and consent forms, at least 2 weeks before any trips or visits are planned to take place.
- Ensure that there are regular opportunities for you to meet with us, to discuss your child's progress and any problems that they might be encountering.
- Encourage you to undertake supportive roles in the club (eg: volunteering or participating in activities, visits or outings etc).
- Provide you with a means to comment on the work of the club.
- Encourage you to complete our Annual Satisfaction Survey.
- Keep you up to date with any changes in the operation of the club, (eg: alterations to the opening times, changes to fees and payments, any changes to the policies and terms and conditions.)
- Advise you of any schemes available to assist you in paying your child's fees.
- Ensure that all concerns and complaints receive a prompt response, in accordance with the provisions of our Concerns, Compliments and Complaints Policy.
